A NEW Center for Intellectual Property Certification Program:

Copyright Leadership in Higher Education

The 21st century demands a new breed of expert –one with the skills necessary to develop new models for managing and brokering information in the digital environment, in education as well as in the public and private sectors. The Certificate in Copyright Leadership in Higher Education provides participants with the knowledge and education sorely needed to navigate the changes in business and education due to the influence of the digital environment.

In spite of the growth of education and business on the Internet, legal, ethical, and policy challenges abound. And market analysts believe that the debate over intellectual property and what constitutes fair use will intensify in the coming years.

To meet the challenges facing the education enterprise, leaders must be provided with viable solutions to their enterprise dilemmas. The certificate in Copyright Leadership in Higher Education will provide critical answers for academia.
