First of all, in the book The Song of Kahunsha, we see Chamdi, a ten-year street kid in Bombay, India, where he suffers really much from spiritual pandemonium, famishment, poorness and force. Life is truly difficult, the sky above is dark, you can see the cryings. However, as he struggles difficult to state alive, he ne’er loses the ability to dream. He entertains an idyllic phantasy of what the metropolis is like, where “ kids play cricket in the street with a ruddy gum elastic ball and even if the batter hits the ball hard, sends it crashing into a windowpane and the glass interruptions, no one gets angry. The glass mends itself in a few seconds, and the game resumes. ” ( Irani 11 ) Merely like this, a metropolis withous dadnedd No affair how dark, blue and abandon his fortunes appear to be, he needs to merely shut his eyes and dream of the beautiful Kahunsha, and he will be able to smile. It is his dreams and beliefs which lift his bosom and give him. Everyone needs a dream to keep on to. Equally long as you do n’t halt dreaming and believing, there is no trouble you ca n’t travel through.

You can see the large differences between the 2 parts of the images, and that ‘s the power of dreams. Even in our darkest clip, dreams can ever give us trust, bravery, felicity, and motives to the hereafter. Do n’t of all time give up woolgathering and believing. I painted 2 images to stand for my essay. I think it ‘s the most originative and suited manner to reflect my subject, the importance of dreams.

On the first image, I draw a face of a kid, who is the chief character of my independent novel. I divided the image into 2 parts. The left side is the world universe in Bombay, where the kid suffers really much. The house represent he has no house to derive warm, the book represent he could n’t afford school, the home base and fork represent famishment, and the gun and blood represent pandemonium and force. There are cryings in his left side oculus. The colourss I use are all dark and cold, which shows the unhappiness. The right side shows the idyllic phantasy the kid creates with his inventive dream. Skyscrips, bluish sky, kids running and playing, flowers blossoming.
